The village of Parga is situated on the mainland opposite Corfu and Paxos. It is set against a backdrop of towering
mountains that look down on a beautiful bay with tiny whitewashed churches nestling on rocky islets in clear blue waters.
High on a hill overlooking the harbour and waterfront stands the ruins of a Venetian castle. The castle like the island churches
are floodlit after dark. There are two town beaches or you can
take the walk up the castle, over the hill and down the path on the other side and you come to the course golden sands of
Valtos beach and the lemon groves beyond.
